5-YEAR FRAME WARRANTY

We offer a 5-year free warranty on SUPERIOR frames from 2020 collection and onwards.

 

A warranty extension only applies to manufacturing defects in the frame and in the way it was constructed, and does not apply to the surface finish/coating of the frame and its accessories. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to defects, malfunctions or failures that result from the abuse, neglect, improper assemble and maintenance, alteration, modification, accident, or misuses.

 

The warranty period starts from the day when the product is purchased.  The warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable.

 

The five-year warranty for the frame applies only if an inspection is done once a year by an authorized Superior dealer according to maintenance requirements as set forth in the manual. The annual maintenance service performed shall be confirmed by stamp and signature in the warranty card. In case such an annual maintenance service has not been performed, the warranty of five years for the frame shall be reduced to two years. The costs for maintenance and service have to be covered by the owner. 

 

When making a claim, the original warranty card and proof of purchase must be presented. Under the extended warranty, if the claim is justified, the damaged frame will be repaired or replaced with the same or the most similar and comparable frame available at the time the claim is made. All the costs of setting up the bike due to differences in the new frame are paid by the bike owner. The warranty only applies to the frame; the service work associated with rebuilding or improving the bike due to the replaced frame is fully covered by the owner of the bike. If the frame is repaired or replaced, the customer is not entitled to a new warranty period; in such cases, the warranty is given for the maximum period of time remaining from the original extended warranty.

EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR FRAMES FROM THE COLLECTION 2014 - 2019

We offer the possibility to extend the warranty on the frame:

 

  • to 3 years free of charge for all bike categories,
  • to 5 years for a fee for all bike categories.

Extended 3-year warranty for Superior frames from the 2019 collection and earlier can be registered by filling in the form below during the first 14 days from the date of purchase. After the form has been filled in, the system automatically sends an e-mail confirming the extension of the warranty to the address provided by the customer.

The registered data must be identical to those stated in the warranty card of the bicycle. 

 

Customer can buy 5-year frame warranty directly in store at an authorized Superior dealer. An extended 5-year warranty is subject to an additional charge: 50 EUR for alloy frames, or 100 EUR for carbon and full-suspension frames. The dealer registers the frame warranty through a password-protected section.

crash replacement

Crash Replacement is an optional service provided by the company BIKE FUN International, the manufacturer of Superior bicycles. With our Crash Replacement service, you can replace your damaged Superior frame for a new one with a 50% discount off the corresponding price quoted in the official price list if, due to an accident, the frame cannot be safely used anymore.
